    At Larry Walters Pool Service Inc., quality craftsmanship and experience run deep. Operators Jason Lynch and Marcus Lynch bring over 38 years of combined hands-on experience in the swimming pool and spa industry, proudly serving homeowners with expert construction, remodeling, and renovation services.


    Our company specializes in swimming pool construction as well as complete swimming pool remodels, transforming outdated or damaged pools into stunning, modern outdoor spaces built to last. From initial design and planning to excavation, structural work, finishing, and final startup, we handle every phase with precision and professionalism.

    🏊 Swimming Pool Construction: Start-to-Finish Process

    1. 📐 Design & Planning


    What happens:

    • Meet with homeowner to discuss vision & budget
       
    • Measure yard and check access
       
    • Create 2D/3D pool design & layout
       
    • Choose shape, spa, waterfalls, tanning ledge, etc
       
    • Select tile, coping, plaster, and decking
       
    • Goal: Final approved design + signed contract

    Standard pool structural plans with wall, soil, and ramp details.

     2. 🏛 Permits & Engineering 


     

    What happens:

    • Engineering for structural strength
       
    • Submit plans to city
       
    • Obtain building permits
       
    • HOA approval (if needed)
       
    • Utility marking before digging
       

    Goal: Legal approval to start construction

     3. 🚜 Excavation (Dig Phase) 


     

    What happens:

    • Layout pool with paint/string
       
    • Heavy equipment digs pool shape
       
    • Haul away dirt or stockpile
       
    • Set depth and form steps/spa
       

    Goal: Hole fully shaped and ready for steel

     4. 🧱 Steel (Rebar Structure) 


     

    What happens:

    • Install rebar skeleton
       
    • Form steps, benches, spa
       
    • Bond beam formed
       
    • City steel inspection
       

    Goal: Strong structural framework for gunite

    Pipes and tanks setup for water system outdoors.

     5. 🔧 Plumbing & Electrical 


     

    What happens:

    • Install main drains & returns
       
    • Run plumbing to equipment pad
       
    • Install skimmer lines
       
    • Electrical & bonding
       
    • Pressure test lines
       

    Goal: Pool fully piped and inspected

     6. 🏗 Gunite / Shotcrete 


     

    What happens:

    • Concrete shell sprayed
       
    • Shape steps & walls
       
    • Form bond beam
       
    • Start curing process (watering shell)
       

    Goal: Solid concrete pool shell

     7. 🧱 Tile, Coping & Deck Prep 


     

    What happens:

    • Install waterline tile
       
    • Install coping
       
    • Deck drains
       
    • Pour concrete or pavers
       
    • Equipment set
       

    Goal: Exterior structure complete

     8. ✨ Plaster & Fill (Finish Phase) 


     

    What happens:

    • Interior plaster or pebble
       
    • Fill pool with water
       
    • Start equipment
       
    • Chemical startup
       
    • Final inspection
       

    Goal: Pool ready to swim 🏊

    • Design & permits: 2–6 weeks
       
    • Construction: 6–10 weeks
       
    • Total: ~2–3 months average
